HOW CREDIT IS EARNED

Once enrolled, various methods may be used to fulfill the requirements for the desired degree. Each learning activity will be translated into coursework, evaluated by your mentor, and listed on your transcript. Prior learning experiences arising from nontraditional means in living, working, and professional environments.

APOLOGETICS

Apologetics is the study of the tenets of the defense and proofs of the Christian faith from a practical perspective.
Other areas examined are the authority of the Scriptures, the existence of God, miracles, the incarnation, and the various philosophies and methodologies in the Scriptures.

BIBLICAL STUDIES

The field of Biblical studies examines the major Scriptural themes and topics of the Sacred Scriptures and the various doctrines of the Word of God, which are devoted to the fundamental beliefs of the Holy Bible.

CHRISTIAN COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGY

Christian counseling and Psychology are double majors. This major examines Christian and Biblical truths in counseling, the goals and techniques used to reach those goals, and the differences between secular and Christian counseling.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

The study of Christian education examines the theory and practice of providing educational services to Christian community members. Emphasis is placed on training in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the development of Christian Character.

CHURCH ADMINISTRATION

Church administration examines how a church, ministry, or other nonprofit organization keeps and maintains its records. It also examines determining which programs are best for an organization and how to develop new programs. Finally, it examines the legal aspects that all nonprofit organizations face.

PASTORAL MINISTRY

Pastoral ministry pertains to the work of the Lord and the service of God. It also covers the training in a clergy member’s performance, duties, and responsibilities. The various Biblical truths and how they relate to shepherding the flock today are examined.

THEOLOGY

Theology is the study of God and the expansion of Christology, the relationship between God and man. It also examines the cultivation of the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity.

REVIVAL AND REFORMATION THEOLOGY

RRT is the study of Biblical Revivals and Reformations. It covers and examines revival from Biblical times to the present day, emphasizing the why, the how, and the when. (If any )of revival. This major seeks to address and answer what must be done for the Church to see another national reformation and revival today.
