As society becomes increasingly complex, faith communities are asked to provide trained, certified chaplains to serve government institutions and other

agencies worldwide. For far too long, the church has sat passively in the background and let support agencies or disaster relief staff do what only the church should. It’s time to take our place in relief efforts through a highly trained crisis Team. Hurting people need trained, qualified believers to respond to the unique needs of victims of crime, terrorism, hurricanes, floods, Tsunamis, earthquakes, and the list goes on. Disasters are unexpected and devastating. Events such as these and others will always require comforting people in a manner appropriate for the time and circumstances.
